There were, however, two points that I really didn’t like – always considering that it was only a chic-flic: But this instead was about a single urban woman who seems to be desperately in search of a man who can validate her existence in the society, which is clearly understandable though she screams hard throughout the novel how independent and confident she is.

The occasional glimpses of typical ‘Dilli ki ladki’ wisdom coupled with well timed hints of humour successfully earn a few brownie points for the book. There’s some wit in here.
