I’m super into fiction and “the story” as a medium, but I was also impressed with what the writing that broke up this crimethihc added. Expect Resistance is more short story laden than i thought. I bought several books on anarchy, but all preached theory and intense scholarly information leading up to and behind the movement. It leaves you with the impression that the people participating in CrimethInc are selfish, hateful, and care more about the thrill of rioting than the cause they are fighting for in the first place.
I think what I liked more than anything was how the book included a healthy dose of humility alongside the standard hyberole Crimethinc. It was as if it had to point out the obvious to get to the even more obvious.
