Reread in April I read it in a single day, because it was so thrilling and totally not like the usual books one has to read for school. We had to read this book in school, and it’s actually one of the few books that I really, really, really liked.

At first the execution reminded me of Tom Stoppard — high praise round my way, because I think Stoppard’s one of the greatest writers alive. Anyway, although I’m glad to have read something that gave me the opportunity for so much analysis, you can probably tell that I didn’t like it very much; it’s baldly preachy, and though intended to be humorous, the laughter is the kind that leaves a bad taste in the mouth.
